Pay attention to the protection of the surface of the stainless steel head, after the head is welded with the cylinder, it is necessary to timely clean the weld, the welding slag, splash, and pollutants in and around the heat affected zone, and carry out PT inspection and surface pickling.
5, to prevent the surface of the stainless steel head scratches.
6, prevent direct contact with carbon steel, to avoid iron ion pollution.
7, do not store in the open air, rainproof.
8, avoid forced welding. Structural design should prevent excessive restraint stress.
9. The chloride ion content of water for hydraulic test shall not be greater than 25mg/L, and it shall be blown dry in time after the test.
10, stainless steel pickling can not be used to reduce acid such as hydrochloric acid.
11. Strictly abide by the medium compatibility stipulated in the "Capacity Regulation". Note: For stable austenitic stainless steel heads such as 0Cr18Ni9 and 304, it is easy to cause surface spot corrosion due to improper surface protection. When superimposed with machining stress and welding stress, it leads to stress corrosion and intergranular corrosion. To this end, customers are asked to pay special attention to the surface protection of such stainless steel.
Points of attention for the use of the head:
1, carbon steel head will crack in nitrate, ammonia, alkaline sodium and other environments, please explain when ordering the head to eliminate residual stress.
2, austenitic stainless steel in the specific environment of chloride ions will occur stress corrosion cracks, please choose the appropriate material in the design.
3, need to hot-dip galvanized or aluminized carbon steel containers, please do heat treatment first, remove residual stress.
