Product introduction
Pipe cap, also known as head, plug, cover, pipe cap, bulkhead, welded to the end of the pipe or installed on the pipe end of the external thread to cover the pipe. It is used to seal pipelines and has the same function as pipe plugging.
The cap is a component of the container that is welded to the cylinder. (as shown below) According to the different geometric shapes, it can be divided into spherical, oval, dish, ball crown, cone shell and cap, etc., of which spherical, oval, dish, ball crown head is also collectively referred to as convex head. The welding is divided into butt welding head and socket welding head. Used in a variety of container equipment, such as storage tanks, heat exchangers, towers, reactors, boilers and separation equipment. Materials are carbon steel (A3, 20#, Q235, Q345B, 16Mn, etc.), stainless steel (304, 321, 304L, 316, 316L, etc.), alloy steel (15Mo3 15CrMoV 35CrMoV45CrMo), aluminum, titanium, copper, nickel and nickel alloys.
